Intro to the Audio Companion
Thanks for listening to the free audio meditation companion to the book, Not From Here. Before we begin, I’d like to share with you that there are 8 meditations in this series. One for each chapter of the book. I encourage you to use this audio companion when you get to the meditation at the end of each chapter of the book and just listen to one at a time, rather than all of them at once. The meditations are designed to help you integrate what you have just read in the chapter and are each approximately 8-11 mins long. If at the end of the meditation, you have more time to be still and in the energy of the meditation, feel free to do so! You’ll notice that each meditation begins similarly. This is intentional and the repetition is designed to help attune you to getting connected to your source, divine energy, whatever that looks like for you. Like all things, meditation is something that takes practice, so give yourself some grace. If you’re already a meditator, great! If you’re not, know that it is normal for your mind to wander. When you notice it, simply become aware, don’t judge yourself for it, and bring yourself back to the present moment and the guided meditation. I hope you enjoy the meditations and the book!
